News reaching 247 Malawi news desk indicate that 24 people from Lukalazi in Traditional Authority ( T.A) Kabunduli in Nkhata-Bay district have been addimitted at Mzuzu Central hospital after developing signs of food poisoning.
According to Mzuzu Central Hospital Spokesperson Anold Kaira, most of the patients are currently presenting symptoms of vomiting, restlessness and abnominal pains and have since been admitted for observation while receiving treatment.
Kaira says the victims include 20, adults four children, who are reported to have consumed fresh fish cooked from one woman who cooks and sells food items.
