Salima Sugar Company has secured a court injunction temporarily blocking the reinstatement of its former Chief Security Officer Osman Kapida.
Kapida, dismissed last year on allegations of negligence, incompetence, and serious misconduct, had successfully argued in court that his termination was invalid due to the company’s lack of a properly constituted board.

The court ruled in his favor, ordering his return to work.
However, the company has now appealed this decision, securing a temporary injunction that prevents Kapida from resuming his duties and limits his public comments on the matter.
The current legal action follows Kapida’s unsuccessful attempt to return to work after the initial court ruling.
