UK-based Malawian songstress Lissa Mikana set to drop new song

A United Kingdom (UK)-based female Afro singer Lissa Mikana says she is set to drop new song titled ‘Julira’ on June 30,2023.

The song is both in audio and video format.

In an interview, the artist said “Julira” a Tumbuka word, in Chichewa ( Tsegulira) and English (Open) is a Love song which talks about opening ones heart to let the loved one enter in.

“Love motivates in lots and lots.The song’s composition is a motive behind Lovers (Couples) out there,” said the artist.

She said the song has been produced by a well known producer Macia.

According to Mikana, the song will be accessed through digital platforms, Social Media, Radios and Local TV Shows.

Asked on what her fans should expect from her this year, the songstress said :”I am always to bring non other than the best than I have brought so far.

And commenting on how government should do to improve music industry in Malawi, Mikana said: I would recommend that Malawi’s Music Industry is getting bigger and bigger, we are having a great taste of Music.

“An advice to whosoever is to promote our fellow countrymen, it all starts with us(you and me).”

Mikana started music in early 2019.

Currently, she has one Extended Playlist (EP) called “Love and Kindness”.
