Ekhaya Farms Foods, Malawi’s best fresh food supermarket, have become the first sponsor for Kell Kay’s 10th Anniversary celebration in his music career as the company presented a K12 million cheque to the artist.
The company has also bought some tickets to the show which will be distributed to Kell Kay’s lucky fans.
Speaking after receiving the donation on Monday afternoon, the “Loss” hit maker thanked Ekhaya Farms for the support which he said will boost his preparations to the much anticipated show.
He said, “We are going to start distributing these tickets soon, time and dates will be announced. Much thanks to Ekhaya Farms Foods. A company for Malawians, by Malawians, Supporting the Malawian Dream.”
Nigerian music star Ayra Starr, Eli Njuchi and Zeze Kingston are some of the artists expected to perform at the event which is scheduled to take place at Bingu National Stadium (BNS) on October 15.
The event which will be the first of its kind to be headlined by a local artist, has been organized to celebrate Kell Kay’s 10th anniversary in the music industry.
