‘Ah Yami’ a newly released album by Yamikani Chikwawe popularly known as Saint in music circles has become one of the most streamed albums after hitting over 100,000 streams 24 hours after release.
Meanwhile, Malawians including fellow musicians have been congratulating the ‘Ndimalakwitsa’ hit maker for putting up a great album.
Hip-hop artist Gwamba said Saint’s album is one of the best albums this year so far.
He said, “Saint’s album is amazing. Banger after banger, no skips. Congratulations my brother Saint-Realest.”
“I’m so proud of you akumudzi Saint-Realest. ‘Ah Yami’ album mwagwira ntchito yabwino kwambiri.
Unanditani is my favorite,” said gospel musician Thoko Katimba.
One music fanatic Martha Msukwa said Saint’s album is the best album of the year, “Album mwathyakula iyiiiii eeeeeh..henewe its album of the year to me,” she said.
Another music follower known on Facebook as Bule Bule wrote, “Huge downgrade premiering this dope album pa made on Monday!”
Some of the songs in the 13 track album include Limodzi, Ndani featuring Suffix, Too much ft Onesimus, Tate featuring Theresa Phondo and Kelvin sings, Dumpha featuring Eli njuchi and Nthiti(half way).
