This follows an article which Zodiak published on its online platform which has information pertaining to the suspension of the two from Tobacco Commission which according to the clients, are false rumors.

“It is an explanation of our clients that you published an online article in which you stated that our clients have been suspended from Tobacco Commission which they work on their respective positions as Executive Director and Director of Finance. You further stated in the said article that the commission has observed some trends on TC Dollar accounts and that there are some disagreements as to the need of Forensic Audit. Your Article is completely false because our clients are still working in their respective positions and that since that publication, our clients have been receiving numerous phone calls from their friends and fellow professionals on the said news,” the statement reads in part.

The letter further said that the said article has tarnished their image of the two who are now taken as dishonest people who have abused public funds.

They are further indicating that if they did not hear from them (Zodiak) within 7 days from the date of this summon, they will commence legal actions in a court of law where further costs will be demanded.
