President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera has called on Malawians to join hands in turning around our economy in order for Malawi become self-sustaining.
Speaking in Ntchisi during a development rally soon after launching World Bank funded Agricultural Commercialisation Project (AGCoM), Chakwera said for those countries who are doing well, its because they are working hard for their country.
Chakwera said self reliant is so crucial for the good of our economy. The president urged people in Ntchisi to embrace AGCOM Project saying the project is here to change livelihoods.
He said these organisations should be here to compliment what we already do , without fully relying on it.
“That is why we urging everyone to work hard and smart for the good of our country,” he said.
