Member of parliament for Nkhata-bay South constituency Ken Zikhale Ng’oma has awarded his constituency strategist Dyson Mponela with a brand new motorcycle for his dedication and hardworking spirit towards the constituency agenda.
Ng’oma who is also the Homeland Security Minister made the gesture at Chatonda hotel on Monday when he presided over an annual constituency political conference aimed to review how the party has performed and suggestions for future developmental plans.
During the meeting, Zikhale awarded Mr Mponela for his dedication and hardworking spirit toward the attainment of party agendas at the constituency level.
Ng’oma added that Mponela’s leadership has taken the party to a greater level in his constituency.
“Mponela is a hardworking person,so i decided to thank him as we lap up the year, such people need to be recognised and motivated for their great work for the party,” He said.
Mponela thanked Ng’oma for the gesture, saying that it will help him to ease mobility challenges,hence enabling to reach all areas within the constituency.
Meanwhile, Senior chief Fukamapiri has thanked president Lazarus Chakwera for appointing Zikhale as a cabinet minister, citing that this is a great recognition considering that the party originated from Nkhata-bay South constituency where Zikhale is a member of parliament.
The function was graced by T/A Malengamzoma,T/A Zilakoma, different business people and MCP top officials at the constituency level.
