Malawi Leader President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera has sent opposition political parties into panic mode following a number of infrastructural and policy interventions he has taken in developing Malawi.
At first opposition political party leaders thought Chakwera will not deliver and after going as cowardly as wild duck, they started quickly creating stories.
The stories were part of the propaganda hatched to tarnish the image of the President.
Contrary to their thinking, every sane Malawian is currently able to make a difference between propaganda and real news.
In Blantyre Chakwera has completely changed the face of the city.
For example Chakwera has Constructed city roads such Chipatala Avenue – Kamba at K584 million, rehabilitation of Lali Lubani Road across Masauko Chipembere Highway via Malawi Polytechnic currently known as MUBAS at K648 million, rehabilitation of 2-kilometre Namiwawa -Sunnyside Road at K768 million. The President has also upgraded 1.5 Km Michiru – Likhubula Road at K600 million.
In Lilongwe the situation is different. The Lilongwe city is no longer the same especially with the expansion of the Kenyatta Drive to six lanes, Mzimba Street to four lanes just as the carriage way from Crossroads to Kanengo.
In Mzuzu , Zomba , Mangochi and along the Lakeshore region major infrastructure development projects are underway as well.
