Malawi’s record producer ‘Tapps’ clinch a deal with Universal Music Group

Malawi’s renowned record producer Tapuwa Bandawe popularly know as Tapps, has signed a deal with the largest music company in the world, Universal Music Group.

According to Tapps, the deal will give Malawian artists abundant opportunities to  take their music to the world with no limits.

Managing Director of Universal Music Group Publishing, Ryan Hill signed the deal on behalf of the company.

The signing of the agreement means that Malawi has become the first Southern African country to sign a deal with the music company.

Tapps has worked with top musicians in the UK and South Africa in over 35 years that he has been in the music industry.
