Preparations are now at an advanced stage for the Lilongwe Motor Show to be held on June 1,2024,at Umodzi Park-Malawi Square, Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
This is an annual event that showcases the latest innovations in the automotive industry.
Speaking to 247 Malawi News, Lilongwe Motor Show organizing committee Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Alinane Njolomole said apart showcasing the latest advancements in automotive technology, the show is aimed at promoting industry networking, collaboration, and offering entertainment and education to attendees.
He said the event is open to everyone with an interest in automobiles.
“It is an interesting event that will bring together automotive enthusiasts, industry professionals, and the general public for a unique and engaging experience.
“We invite all automotive enthusiasts and members of the public to join us at the show and experience the excitement of the automotive world, discover the latest innovations, and enjoy a fun-filled day of entertainment and activities,” said Njolomole.
He said the main activities during the show include auto exhibition, spin show, test drives bike parade and vintage display.
Njolomole said the price for the show at the door is K5, 000 per person.
