Silver, Bullets in crucial fixtures

After a two-week hiatus due to the International Break and the tragic death of Malawi’s Vice President Saulos Chilima and eight other compatriots, the TNM Super League returns for Matchweek 10.

With a flurry of games coming, you might want to keep an eye on FCB Nyasa Big Bullets versus league debutants Creck Sporting SC, where the People’s team will be looking forward for a better result following a poor run of form before the break.

Silver Strikers go into the Matchweek 10 fixtures top of the League – above Kamuzu Barracks who are trailing the central bankers with seven points.

Super League back in action

The action starts on Sunday with the Creck Sporting – Bullets match at Civo Stadium as Karonga United will be hosting Moyale Barracks at Mzuzu Stadium.

Fourth placed Mighty Mukuru Wanderers will play Civil Service United at Kamuzu Stadium as Mafco FC who are fourth from the bottom, hosts another struggling side Chitipa United at Chitowe Stadium.

Bangwe All Stars will be at home, Mpira Stadium against third placed Mzuzu City Hammers as rookies FOMO FC takes on Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos at Mulanje Stadium.

On Monday, the league leaders, Silver Strikers will be away at Kamuzu Stadium playing Mighty Tigers as bottom placed Baka City takes on Kamuzu Barracks at Karonga Stadium.

Meanwhile, Super League of Malawi (SULOM) has announced that all players and officials will wear black arm bands during Matchweek 10 of the TNM Super League in memory and honor of former State Vice President, and eight others who tragically died in a plane crash on June 10, 2024.

According to a statement released by the Super League body, before each match, a minute of silence will also be observed.
