BLANTYRE, Malawi – Triephornia Mpinganjira, a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment, has expressed profound sadness over the passing of Vice President Saulos Chilima. In a heartfelt message on her Facebook page, Mpinganjira highlighted Chilima’s unwavering belief in youth as catalysts for national transformation, which deeply resonated with her and inspired her team’s project.
Chilima, who tragically lost his life alongside eight others in a recent plane crash, was known for his commitment to empowering young people and fostering positive change in Malawi. “In honor of Vice President Saulos Chilima and the other departed souls, our team paused our K1 million project,” Mpinganjira wrote on her Facebook page. “Today, Monday 24 June 2024, we resume all developments in our project as a tribute to his enduring vision and dedication to youth empowerment. May their souls rest in peace.”
