Silver Strikers on Friday unveiled dancehall icon Malinga Mafia real name Chiku Chitsundi Banda and R n B star Lulu real name Lawrence Khwisa as the team’s brand ambassadors.
The two signed a one-year contract each to promote Silver Strikers’ brand and increase its visibility.
Speaking after unveiling the two, Silver Strikers Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Patrick Chimimba said the company thought of engaging the two leveraging on their popularity and love for the club.
He expressed hope that the move will help in reaching Silver Strikers fans across the country and beyond.
Said Chimimba:“We are happy today to announce Malinga Mafia and Lulu as our Brand Ambassadors, in this day and age it is important to relatable means to reach out to the target audience.
“We feel the two are relevant celebrities who are a true representation of our brand, and having them on board will ease our penetration to the fans out there. We are thankful to Malinga and Lulu for taking up these roles and we believe this will help Silver Strikers attain its goals.
In his remarks, Malinga Mafia said he accepted to become Silver Strikers’ brand ambassador as he feels this is an opportunity to connect with youths and fans who also follow the team.
“I am excited today that I have been unveiled as a Silver Strikers Brand Ambassador.
“Growing up in Area 18, Silver Strikers was the club closest to me and my heart. I have grown up supporting Silver Strikers so I am very happy to represent the Silver Strikers Brand”,he said.
Among other promotional activities, the two artists will attend and participate in Silver Strikers events mutually and promote the club on social media platforms.
