In a heartwarming display of solidarity, various gospel musicians gathered at Sheaffer ICA Marque in Lilongwe to raise funds for their colleague, Peter Uyu Mlangeni, who has faced significant challenges since a car accident last year.
Mlangeni’s health has been severely impacted by the accident, resulting in ongoing medical and financial struggles. He requires frequent hospital visits for medical treatments and physiotherapy sessions to aid in his recovery.
The fundraising event kicked off with CD performances by several artists, setting a poignant tone for the evening. Evance Meleka set the stage with an opening performance, followed by anticipation for live band performances by other notable artists including James Phiri, Sam Maliza, Thoko Katimba, Apostle Norman Phiri, and more.
Attendees and supporters at the event have come together to contribute towards Mlangeni’s medical expenses, aiming to alleviate the financial burden on his rehabilitation journey.
The event not only showcases the unity within the gospel music community but also underscores the power of collective support in times of need.
