Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Legal Advisor and aspiring Member of Parliament for Dowa Kasangadzi, George Jivason Kadzipatike, has called on the people of Dowa to rally behind him and President Lazarus Chakwera in the upcoming 2025 general elections.
Kadzipatike made the plea during the finals of the K2 million Kadzipatike Football Bonanza, held at Mchoto Ground in Senior Chief Chakhaza’s area, Dowa District. The bonanza, a key community event, drew large crowds and showcased Kadzipatike’s commitment to youth development and community engagement.
In his address, Kadzipatike stressed the importance of active participation and unwavering support for the MCP in the next elections. He urged residents to ensure that President Chakwera garners 100% voter support from the region.
“The MCP is the only party committed to prioritizing the Development Agenda in our country,” he said, highlighting the party’s dedication to fostering progress across Malawi.
Kadzipatike also emphasized the value of unity and collective effort in achieving development goals, noting that grassroots engagement is vital to the nation’s future.
The Kadzipatike Football Bonanza, a platform to promote sportsmanship and community interaction, was celebrated as a successful initiative. It underscored Kadzipatike’s focus on empowering youth and fostering development in the area.
The event concluded with the winning team receiving trophies and cash prizes, further cementing Kadzipatike’s connection with the people of Dowa.
With the 2025 elections approaching, Kadzipatike’s efforts to engage with the community and promote MCP’s vision for development are expected to resonate strongly among voters in the Dowa Kasangadzi constituency.
