Singer ‘Tuno’ gave out a short but show-stopping performance at Mikozi Studios in Blantyre, a performance which has left many music fanatics impressed.
The outspoken singer gave out the acoustic rendition of three songs namely _Woman in Me, Wait_ and _Ndidziwe_.
Going by People’s reaction on Mikozi’s Facebook page, majority of those who commented said the performance was top-notch, describing her as the most underrated musician in the country who has the potential of taking Malawian music far.

In her response, the “Indedi’ hit maker said that she was overwhelmed with the  People’s reaction to her performance saying that the feedback has given her confidence to do more music.
“Recently I felt I was hated from a lot of negativity around me. But after observing your comments on my performance, I truly feel loved. Thank you so much. It’s the positive mood that keeps me going.”
Real name Tunosiwe Mwakalinga, Tuno released one of her first songs in 2015 titled ‘Alipo Awiri’ featuring Brendah and released other songs like ‘Tandiunze’ and ‘Money’ in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
The musician became very popular in 2021 after releasing Sidala which she featured Saint and another song Undigwire which she released later the same year.
Apart from Saint, Tuno also worked with other popular artists like Temwa in her 2023 single titled “Nawe”.
