Prime Insurance Company on Thursday made a generous donation of a football equipment kit worth K20 million to Moyale Barracks Football Club (FC).
The sports kit includes two sets of uniforms, 40 tracksuits, three sets of bibs, two pairs of gloves, 30 pairs of football boots, 30 shin pads, and 36 t-shirts.
In an interview with journalists,Prime Insurance board chairperson, Andrina Mchiela said the donation aims to motivate the team to improve their performance by providing them with essential equipment.
“We believe that with the right tools, the team can excel and make a meaningful impact in the league,” said Mchiela.
On his, commanding officer of Moyale Barracks,Lieutenant Colonel Herbert Lemani expressed his gratitude for the donation,saying that the team has no excuse to perform poorly.
Lemani also appealed to other stakeholders to support other sports disciplines at the barracks.
Moyale Barracks FC recently concluded the TNM Super League season with a respectable eighth-place finish, earning 39 points.
