Jacquieline Bokosi, Co-founder and Managing Director of CTS Malawi, emphasizes that empowering women is crucial for achieving socio-economic development in the country.
Bokosi’s sentiments come after she was recognized as a remarkable woman who has made a significant impact in Malawi by Miss Heritage, a local beauty pageant company.
The award has reignited Bokosi’s passion to engage in more charity work and expand her business, which currently employs over 100 Malawian youths and women.
According to Bokosi, this recognition has motivated her to continue making a positive difference in her community.

Miss Heritage Chief Executive Officer, Maddie Soko, shares Bokosi’s views, stating that financial empowerment is key to unlocking the potential of women in Malawi.
Soko believes that with the right support, women can achieve great things and contribute significantly to the country’s development.
Other notable women recognized by Miss Heritage for their contributions to helping disadvantaged people in Malawi include Deborah Mbale of Mayi Mbambande Foundation, Tusaiwe Yana, and Cha Cha.
