The National Beach Soccer Association has conducted the draw for the 2024 Beach Soccer National Championship, scheduled to take place from April 26 to 27, 2025, at Livingstonia Beach in Salima.
Six teams will compete in the tournament, divided into two groups of three.
Group A consists of Vinthenga from Nkhotakota, Nyasa from the Southern Region, and Deep Bay from Karonga.
While group B features Tourism from the Central Region, Black Eagles from Nkhata Bay, and defending champions Beach Eagles.
“We are ready to host the tournament in Salima,” said Frank Chisambula, National Beach Soccer Association General Secretary.
“We’ve been visiting the teams at their bases and have observed that they are preparing well”Chosambula added.
Chisambula expressed satisfaction with the preparations, thanking the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) for their financial backing. “With the increase in prize money, we expect a highly competitive tournament, as every team will be fighting hard to claim the top prize.”
