Police sends Commissioner Stan Kaliza on Forced Leave to investigate his sexual misconduct

Stan Kaliza, the Police Commissioner and head of Recruitment at the centre of controversy for allegedly sleeping with over 50 Junior officers in exchange with Job promotions has been sent on force leave

In a latest Press statement from The Malawi Police Service (MPS),the force has commenced investigations into social media reports suggesting sexual misconduct committed by the Commissioner responsible for Human Resource, Management and Development, Mr. Stan Kaliza.

Malawi Police National PRO ACP James Kadadzera has said that this has happened following WhatsApp screenshots that went viral on social media this week.

The Police Statement says that when the investigations are concluded, the matter will be reffered to the Police Service Commission which has, under the Police Act, the mandate of disciplining senior police officers.

Meanwhile, the concerned Commissioner has been sent on forced leave to pave way for the
investigations.

However social media has been awash with memes ,with some providing stats of his conquests in a similar manner to the reporting of th Corona virus cases. It is reported that Kaliza might have more that 100 victims
