Polokwane City’s Malawian International forward Khuda Muyaba was among the scorers in his team’s 2-0 win against Uthongathi FC on Saturday boosting his chances of winning the Golden boot in the South Africa’s Glad African Championship.
The former Silver Strikers player was also on target on Wednesday when his side clashed Hungry Lions by four goals to nil.
Muyaba now leads the race to golden boot with 13 goals followed by South Africa’s Luvuyo Howard Phewa and 28-year-old Zimbabwean striker Ishmael Wadi who plays for JDR Stars.
Polokwane remains top in the league with 34 points but have played a game more than second placed Richards Bay who have also accumulated 34 points but City have a better goal difference.
