Silver Strikers emerged winners of the 2022 Nzika-Pamtsetse Soccer Bonanza after beating Mighty Wanderers 1-0 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
Chawanangwa Kaonga’s extra time goal was enough to give the Central Bankers victory over the Lili Lubani boys after the game ended goal-less in the regulation time.
To crown it all, Silver’s Chawanangwa Kaonga finished as top goal scorer having scored a goal in Silver’s first match against Nyasa Big Bullets on Saturday.
Nyasa Big Bullets has finished third in the Bonanza after a 2-0 win over Civil Service United.
Yankho Singo and Babatunde Adepoju were on target for the Peoples team.
The two-day Bonanza was organised by Nzika Flood Response in partnership with TNM and NBS Bank to raise resources for people affected by floods in the country.
The teams that took part in the bonanza were Silver Strikers, Mighty Wanderers, Nyasa Big Bullets and Civil Service United.
