Social Media Influencer Pemphero Mphande and hip-hop artist Nthondwa have signed a K5 million one-year management deal which will help to promote and push the artist to greater heights.
According to Mphande the K5 million will come from his company ‘265Dates’ and will be channeled towards marketing, studio recording and videography.
Speaking after signing the artist at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre, Keturah’s former manager said he believes Nthondwa has got potential to achieve greater things in music and he is ready support him.
“I have always believed that some talents are special and need help to move forward. I have known Nthondwa for about two years and he has impressed me with how he wants to use rap to further our culture. I have also fallen in love with his authenticity and I think he is special,” he said.
Nthondwa, real-name Chawanangwa Malanga is well-known in the music circles for his Tumbuka rap and he is fondly called Tumbuka Hip-Hop Landlord by his fans.
Apart from music, Nthondwa works as a part time Lecturer in the school of Art, Communications and Design at the University of Malawi (UNIMA) in Zomba.
