A grouping under the banner of Citizens for Justice and Equity has accused Former Anti Corruption Bureau Director General Ms Martha Chizuma for inviting the British Crime Agency National Crime Agency (NCA).
In an exclusive interview with this publication the grouping which is led by Agappe Khombe, Billy Malata, and Alfred Munika said Chizuma errored to invite foreign nationals and start recording people without their prior consent as required by law.
According to the grouping , recording of any individual requires a very vigorous legal process.
Frederick Malata, member of the grouping said they have welcome the decision to interdict Chizuma saying it will send a strong message to public officers in abiding by the law.
According to Malata, despite several promises to deal with corruption, up to now, two years down the line there is nothing tangible to show on completed cases by the Bureau.
Meanwhile, Alfred Munika Leader of the grouping says interdiction of Chizuma is legal and they would like to call upon judiciary to fast track the case to its completion.
Munika adds that the interdiction should have been done immediately when the audio came to the public.
