One of the country’s leading insurance companies, Nico Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Nico group says it managed to rake in K14 billion profit in 2022.
Disclosing this was the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eric Chapola at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre on Tuesday when the company awarded some best performing sales representatives in recognition of their contribution to the company.
Chapola indicated that the profit figures were up from K9 billion posted in the preceding year.
He said this demonstrates that Malawians are now aware of the need to invest in the future.
” We are very happy with this and we are now sure that many have known the importance of investing in the future,” he said.
