Former Minister of Information who also happens to be the founder of Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) Gospel Kazako, has donated two cows to Cyclone Freddy victims at Mthawira parish of the Catholic Church in Machinjiri Area 3, in the city of Blantyre.

The parish which has two camps, is currently hosting 244 survivors in its multipurpose hall, 144 of which are children.

Kazako has since called for contributory efforts in addressing the needs of children and women who are currently seeking refuge in relief camps in the southern region.

Kazako who also comes from Machinjiri has pleaded with the government to fix the road which has been washed away, making it difficult for well-wishers to reach the camps with relief items.

Speaking on behalf of the people, Mtawira Parish Priest, Fr Elizeo Nthalika thanked Kazako for the gesture and appealed for more help to assist the people who have been at the parish for over a week now.
