A professional boxer in the country, Alexander ‘Cage’ Likande, has died in the early hours of today after being involved in a motorbike road accident which collided with a car.
According to reports shared by his close friend Byson Gwayani, Likande was involved in an accident last night Sunday 28th April 2024 when he was coming from Area 36 in Lilongwe where there was a boxing tournament taking place.
Likande hailed from Domasi Zomba but did his trade on Lilongwe where he previously worked at US Embassy as a Security Officer
Details of his funeral will be announced later.
