Apostle Francis Mendulo of Voice of God Church has published his first book titled ‘ A Season to Sing for the Barren’

In an interview, Mendulo said among other things, the book seeks to announce the message of hope to the masses that need God’s intervention in their situation and show them that Jesus Christ is enough to handle the challenges of mankind.

He said he felt inspired to write the book so as to spread the Word of God further than the congregation that is within his reach.

“My plans are to continue putting the message of the kingdom of God on printed pages for generations to come,” he said.

Apostle Mendulo appealed to government to enhance the reading culture in the citizenry by building libraries in urban and rural areas so that young people as well as the elderly should be able to access the vast knowledge that promote their lives found in books.

The apostle also urged upcoming writers in the country not to hesitate on the writing skills that they have because the message they have will help in the development of livelihoods and the country at large.

“Please make a plan to get your copy of the book and you will realise the victory and the finished work that Christ accomplished for your successful and prosperous life,” he said.

He said the book is currently selling at K10,000 ( hard copy) and can be accessed from him at his church ‘ Chapima Heights Voice of God church’ which is opposite Chapima Police unit.

On his part, Lyton Chithambo the Group Chief of Operations at Press Corporations Limited commanded the book saying it has come at the right time when Malawi has just experienced so many devastating calamities like cholera pandemic, cyclone Freddy and economic challenges.

Born in a family of nine children in year 1975, Apostle Mendulo is a married man of God with three children Faith, Timothy and Gabriel.

He is a holder of Masters Degree in Theology obtained from Jacksonville Baptist Seminary Florida in United States of America ( USA).
