Super league rookies Bangwe All Stars are the champions of Betika Sapitwa 4 Bonanza after beating Mighty Wakawaka Tigers 4-3 on post match penalties.
The match which took place at Mulanje Park ended goalless in regulation time.
Former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Civil Service United goalkeeper Ernest Kakhobwe scored the winning penalty for the Bangwe based side.
Speaking after the match, Bangwe All Stars FC coach Mabvuto Lungu said he was was excited to have won the Bonanza and said the competition has helped him to assess his boys in readiness to the forthcoming TNM Super league season.
Four TNM Super League teams namely Bangwe All Stars, Mighty Wakawaka Tigers, Red Lions FC and Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar FC took part in a two – day Bonanza which was organized to prepare the teams for the forthcoming season which is set to kick-off next weekend.
