Beit-CURE Malawi to host fundraising dinner to support surgeries for children with disabilities

Beit-CURE Malawi says it will host a fundraising dinner on September 27, 2024, aiming to raise K210 million to support surgeries for 80 children with various physical disabilities.

Beit-CURE Malawi Acting Executive Director Ezekiel Milelu,made the announcement during a meeting at the institution’s premises in Blantyre on Friday to express gratitude to the corporate sector, organizations, and well-wishers who contributed to the success of the inaugural fundraising dinner last year, which generated K105 million.

Milelu stated that the meeting was also held to provide an opportunity for the benefactors to appreciate how the funds were utilized.

In her remarks,marketing and communication manager for FCB Bank, Taleetha Jussab,the headline sponsor of last year’s fundraising dinner, expressed admiration for the institution’s work in providing free treatment to children under 18 with physical disabilities and bone injuries.

Beit-CURE Malawi is a Level 5 accredited hospital with SafeCare which recognizes the regular monitoring and implementation of treatment guidelines and standard operating procedures and is a facility that has encouraged and demonstrated a culture of quality in everything they do.
