Bullets move top of the TNM Super League with a 3-2 win over Moyale Barracks

Ephraim Kondowe scored twice as FCB Nyasa Big Bullets overcome resistance from Moyale Barracks to win 3-2 at Rumphi Stadium.

Moyale were the first to score as Lovemore Jere headed in a corner kick taken by Gasten Simkonda just 2 minutes from kick off.

The visitors leveled the scores six minutes later through Ephraim Kondowe who scored with a powerful strike in the 8th minute.

Kondowe then put Bullets in front with a beautiful volley just three minutes in the second half.

The People’s team found the back of the net again and this time around it was Lanjesi Nkhoma who scored with a beautiful finish in the 75th minute.

Raphael Phiri reduced the arrears for the home side with a cool finish in the 85th minute to end the match at 3-2 in favor of Bullets.

The win has take Bullets back on top of the log table with 47 points, level with city rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers but the People’s team have a superior goal difference with three games in hand.

Moyale are third from the bottom with 28 points from 27 games and they risk exiting the league alongside fellow soldiers Red Lions and rookies Extreme FC.
