Bullets Reserves beat The Boys 3-nil to win Nyasa Capital Finance cup

Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve have been crowned champions of Nyasa Capital Finance cup following their 3-nil victory over The Boyz FC at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.

A brilliant second-half performance by Reserve saw the team scoring three beautiful goals in the second half to win the cup just a day after their main team Nyasa Big Bullets won the Airtel top 8 cup at the same venue.

Patrick Mwaungulu was the first to hit the back of The Boys’ net in the 62nd minute but his goal was ruled out for an offside.

Mwaungulu then came again in the 70th minute with a stunning goal outside the penalty box to give the home side the lead.

Chikumbutso Salima doubled Bullets Reserves’ lead in the 80th minute after receiving the ball from a well taken corner by Mwaungulu.

Bullets Reserves got their third go in the 93rd minute from Chimwemwe Yasin who dribled past three defenders before slotting the ball home.

The win means the Enos Chatama boys have won all the regional silverwares in this season namely ThumbsUp League, PowerStart Tayale Cup and Nyasa Capital Finance Cup.

Nyasa Capital Finance launched the K45 million three-year sponsorship for regional football association tournaments with each region getting K15 million, K5 million per season.
