President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has returned Mzuzu after finalising a number of engagements in the Southern Region
The President arrived in the Northern city to a rapturous welcome at the Mzuzu Airdome from the residents and the women clad in party colours.
His Excellency now proceeds with his Northern Region tour which is expected to extend to various districts in the north.
Among the major engagements done while in the south was the opening of the National Cancer Centre in Blantyre
The President also launched the UniPod project that aims to drive innovation in the country
The president also played host to JICA President Dr Tanaka Ahikiko
