Collins Nsunza gets FAM Communications role

Former Super League of Malawi (Sulom), Media and Marketing Officer Collins Nsunza has been appointed Communications Officer for The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) as the body reinforces its secretariat which is part of its transformative agenda.

Nsunza’s hiring comes barely weeks since he resigned from his post at Sulom where he served the last two seasons.

he country’s football governing body said apart from Nsunza it has also hired Duncan Lengani as Referees Development Manager, Clement Kafwafwa as Club Licensing Manager and David Daniel Dauda as Club Licensing Officer.

FAM General Secretary Alfred Gift Gunda expressed confidence in the new appointments: “We would like to congratulate the four for their successful interviews for their respective positions. Their experience, enthusiasm, qualifications and outstanding achievements make them the perfect choices for their roles.

“The new recruits are the required tools and positions as we are transforming the game,” he said.

Gunda emphasized the additions to the secretariat demonstrate FAM’s ongoing commitment to enhance its operational capability as it works to transform football in Malawi.
