Speaking during the handover ceremony on Thursday, Creck hardware and general dealers Managing Director( MD) Apostle Clifford Kawinga said the new school block will make children at the school to learn comfortably.

Said Kawinga“We constructed the school block after noting that most pupils were learning under trees, which affected their studies during the rainy season.”

He disclosed that previously, the learners were learning at an open ground.

Kawinga said as a company, they will continue to support the school because they want to end child marriages in the district.

He then commended community members in the area for contributing K1.9 million meant for construction of the school.

On her part, Minister of education Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima observed that the classroom blocks will ease mobility challenges for learners.

“This is something very noble and worth emulating. As government, we are very appreciative. Creck hardware and general dealers has done something very special.

“This donation will go a long way in helping ease congestion at this school. If each one of us could do something like that to our schools, education could improve greatly,” she said.
