Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have today announced the signing of defender Lawrence Chaziya.
According to the club’s confirmation statement, the player has signed a 3 year deal with the Lali Luban side after being released by Jordanian Pro League side Al Hussein Irbid SC after the expiry of his 10-month contract.

The former Hussein FC and Civo Service United defender has agreed to a three year deal.
Earlier today the Nomads have also signed goalkeeper Dalitso Khungwa from Mighty Tigers,” reads the club’s facebook post.
The Lali Luban side has also signed Mighty Waka Waka Tigers Goalkeeper Dalitso on a 3 year deal.
Born on August 19, 1998, Chaziya is a Malawian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back and most recently played for the Jordanian club Al-Hussein.
Chaziya played for local club CIVO United until 2022.
He then joined Al-Hussein of the Jordanian Pro League, signing a contract until the end of the 2022 season.
He made his international debut with the Malawi national team in a 2–1 friendly win over Comoros on 31 December 2021.
He was part of the Malawi squad the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
