Kasungu North East member of parliament who is also the Deputy Minister of Education, Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima has today chilled up the elderly people in her constutiency gracing them with bags of maize flour
At least400 households in the constutiency have benefited with the donation and each household has been relieved with a 20kg bag.
Speaking to constituents, the deputy minister said the donation is not connected to politics but a celebration with her constutients in this festive season.
Kambauwa underscored the need for the government or non state stakeholders to support the vulnerable persons.
Meanwhile she has pledged to transform her constutiency disclosing projects to be implemented in the territory.
One of the beneficiaries identified as Dickson Biziwick has hailed the donation saying it has bailed out some of food challenges that engulfed his family.
He has called on other people of good will to emulate from her.
