The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has secured a major partnership with WS Bet, a leading betting company, as the official betting partner for the inaugural FAM Annual Football Awards. The highly anticipated event is set to take place on February 21, 2025, at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre.
WS Bet’s Managing Director, Timothy Kandimba, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that it aligns with the company’s objectives to contribute to the development of football in Malawi. Kandimba also highlighted the event’s unique platform for football fans to connect with the WS Bet brand, which focuses on promoting sports and entertainment in the country.
FAM Marketing and Broadcasting Manager, Tulipo Mwenelupembe, praised WS Bet for their support, emphasizing that their partnership demonstrates a commitment to the growth of the game and recognition of its key stakeholders, including players.
Mwenelupembe also noted that the partnership lays a strong foundation for future success and collaboration between FAM and WS Bet.
FAM Annual Football Awards have also received support from FDH and Castel. With nominations released and voting set to close on February 14, 2025.
