Renowned Malawian artist and activist Fredokiss has issued a passionate call to the youth in various districts, encouraging them to register in large numbers ahead of the 2025 elections. In a message addressed to young people from Mzuzu, Karonga, Chitipa, Nkhotakota, Ntchisi, Salima, Dedza, Balaka, Machinga, Chiradzulu, Neno, Phalombe, and Mulanje, Fredokiss emphasized the importance of voter registration and the role of the youth in shaping the future of Malawi.
“Voter registration has begun in your areas, let’s register in large numbers. We have work to do in 2025! Next year, we are making a statement,” Fredokiss wrote, underscoring the urgency for the youth to be actively involved in the upcoming elections.
He also announced his plans to visit the various districts soon, offering a chance for young people to engage with him directly. Fredokiss encouraged the youth to send videos or photos of themselves on their way to or from registration centers, along with messages to inspire their peers, which he promised to share through his platforms.
“Send your videos or photos going to register and your message to fellow youth to my inbox, and I will be posting,” he added, showing his commitment to using his influence to amplify the voices of young Malawians.
Fredokiss, known for his strong connection with the youth, continues to be a vocal advocate for their participation in governance and leadership. His call to action ahead of the 2025 elections reflects his belief in the power of young people to make a difference and shape the political landscape of Malawi.
