The home side started the game very well and they almost took the lead in the 14th minute when Stanie Davie found Binwell Katinji whose finish was not good enough to take Silver Strikers in front.

The central bankers had another chance in the 28th minute when Gift Chunga’s long-range was beautifully saved by Tizola.

Tigers on the other hand had afew chances as well but Silver’s defence proved to be too strong for the Kau-Kau boys.

The match between Chitipa United and Karonga United ended goalless at Karonga Stadium.
