Green Chemicals and Soap respond to Chakwera’s Operation Tigwirane Manja Campaign
-Donate chroline to Camps

Green Chemicals and Soap has today responded positively to the call which the Malawi President made asking corporate world to support Operation Tigwirane Manja.

This is the campaign which has four pillars and one of the pillars is to help bring people who survived the floods to go back into normal lives.

Speaking during the ceremony, Green Chemicals and Soap company Managing Director, Noel Kachala said he decided to donate the materials after noting how crucial water and sanitation is in time like this.

“Issues of water and sanitation are critical in camps that is why we decided to donate these materials,” he said.

Kachala said his company has since partnered with Lilongwe City Council to enhance and support Operation Tigwirane Manja campain.

He said its sad that survivors are facing alot of challenges in the camps.

His company has since donated 100 bottles of chlorine and bottles of liquid washing soap.

Kachala said his organization will partner with others and reach out to as many people as possible.

Receiving the donation, Lilongwe City council Mayor, Councilor Richard Banda commended the company for the good gesture.

Banda said the donation will help the the flood survivors who are currently at risk of getting water borne diseases.
