Minister of Trade and Industry Sosten Gwengwe has praised President Dr.Lazarus Chakwera as a visionary leader who is delivering on his promises.
Speaking in Lilongwe at the launch of fuel haulage into the city by the National Oil Company of Malawi(NOCMA) on Tuesday, Gwengwe commended Chakwera’s transformative vision for Malawi, noting that such ambitious goals require time and patience to achieve.
Gwengwe highlighted the Chakwera administration’s infrastructure development initiatives, which he believes will be instrumental in driving Malawi’s transformation.
On his part, General Manager of NACALA Logistics,CM Singh, announced that his company plans to complete the rehabilitation of the railway line between Lilongwe and Zambia by the end of this year.
In a significant development, Malawi has resumed fuel haulage into Lilongwe after a 21-year hiatus, marking a major milestone in the country’s efforts to revitalize its transportation sector.
