The Eastern Region Football Association’s Premier Division has received a K26 million sponsorship deal with H. Adams Wholesalers.
The league, now rebranded as the DURATA Premier Division, will feature teams from Mangochi, Machinga, Zomba, Balaka, and Phalombe.
Oscar Banda, Regional Marketing Manager for H. Adams, highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting football development in Malawi, complementing the efforts of the Football Association of Malawi (FAM).

Abdul Chiwalo, Chairman of the Eastern Region Football Association (ERFA), praised H. Adams Wholesalers for partnering with the association just six months after its formation.
Meanwhile FAM Executive Committee member Daud Mtanthiko, who attended the unveiling ceremony, also commended H. Adams Wholesalers for their financial support.
He emphasized the importance of private sector investment in football development.
