Malawi’s famous local musicians Gibo Pearson and Joe Gwaladi are in South Africa for three gigs mainly supported by Young Joe Promotions .
According to the local media, Gwaladi, better known as Professor Joe Gwaladi in music circles and famed for the track ‘Tumbocid’ and Gibo Pearson of ‘Izathera Mapenalty’ held their first show at Benoni on Friday.
Their second show is on Saturday at Nyanyazi with the last at Tijuca.
Gibo Pearson, who recently collaborated with Joseph Nkasa in the track ‘Go Konko’, says they are happy to perform in the rainbow nation and that it shows that their songs are being loved.
Called ‘Ipatse Moto’, the show is also being supported by Ras Solace, De Boi Culture, Syras and Exodus Band.
