K760 million sponsorship for Nomads

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers team is smiling again after receiving a K760 million sponsorship from Ekhaya Farms Foods and Mukuru for the 2023 season.

The announcement was made during the team’s cocktail party held on Thursday evening at Mount Soche Hostel in Blantyre.

In the sponsorship agreement, Mukuru will bankroll K350 million for two years while Ekhaya Group of companies owned Malawi’s business mogul Thomson Mpinganjira will give out K410 million,making a total of K760 million.

In his speech, Thomson Mpinganjira who happens to be Mighty Mukuru Wanderers FC President assured all supporters in Malawi that the team will fight to grab all trophies including the super league.



“We hope that with this huge amount of sponsorship our team is going to perform well this season,” said Mpinganjira.

While expressing gratitude from the support received, Chancy Gondwe who is the club’s secretary to the board also assured that the team will make sure to impress the partners through better performance in all competitions.

During the event, the team also unveiled their new kit and 2023 squad ahead of the new season.
