Political activist Bon Kalindo and Karonga boys, says the opposition parties electoral Alliance without the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is a passport for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) with its vote rigging scheme to rule the country to 2030.
Kalindo has advised the DPP to forget that it is the biggest opposition party in Malawi and it can go to the polls with a presidential candidate and running mate from within the party to claim victory on the 16th September, 2025 elections.
He said hearing that opposition parties in the names of AFORD, UDF, UTM and Peoples Party are meeting for possible Alliance ahead of the September, 2025 elections, is good news to all patriotic Malawians and activists that have been praying for the MCP to be out of government.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has advised opposition party leaders to forget about personalities and fear of unknown within their parties saying Malawians are praying very hard for the country to have a strong Alliance to remove the MCP out of government.
Kalindo said the MCP is building up its rigging scheme ferrying people in hired buses and lorries from all parts of the central region to Lilongwe at the State House to wine and dine with President Chakwera with voter registration certificates in their hands for scanning.
He said it is heartbreaking to note that Mec which is mandated to conduct free, fair, transparent and credible elections in Malawi and the Public Affairs Committee (PAC) are quiet speaking nothing of the vote rigging scheme happening at the State House in Lilongwe.
The Activist has claimed that apart from Malawians going to the State House, foreign nationals particularly from Rwanda and Burundi are also part of the MCP vote rigging scheme forgetting the trauma they suffered when their containers were confiscated and forfeited to government during the relocation exercise to Dzaleka Camp in Dowa.
“Malawi citizens living in the diaspora are being denied voter registration while foreign nationals within Malawi have joined the choruses of Boma ndilomweli silikuchoka,” said Kalindo.
On his part, Karonga Boys has urged Malawians to disregard the Alliance of AFORD, UTM, UDF, and PP saying this Alliance is not for the common good of the citizens that are praying very hard to be out of the crocodile mouth.
Karonga Boys said the Alliance formed minus the DPP and Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is not for Malawi but for the leader’s pockets and their families, friends and relatives saying the way the country has reached today, it needs an old wood to extinguish the fire, that’s only Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to bring back the proven leadership.
He has claimed that the country has reached a boiling point today that people have no hope for tomorrow because of youthful leaders such as Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, Enock Kamzingeni Chihana, Dr. Joyce Banda, and Atupele Muluzi saying it is sad to learn that these very same leaders are advocating for change of leadership in Malawi excluding the DPP.
“The country’s economy is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), this demand a very big wood for the economy to come back alive not these youthful leaders,” said Karonga Boys.
