Political activist Bon Kalindo has advised President Chakwera to reflect on his leadership style on how he is running the affairs of his government observing that for the past two days, Malawians have been celebrating wishing him dead.
Kalindo said a great lesson must be drawn that if President Chakwera was running the country in the interest of all, Malawians could have been praying and fasting and sending messages wishing him a quick recovery in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ but this was not done.
He said President Chakwera and his MCP are taking Malawians for granted saying this has been evidenced with millions of Malawians celebrating in their communities, towns and cities wishing him dead but thanks the heavens, he is alive.
Speaking through an audio clip circulating in various social media platforms, Kalindo has advised party leaders to check on their leadership styles and do some stock-taking on whether their supporters are loving them in good faith or not.
Kalindo said the celebrations which have been seen on President Chakwera’s health could be seen with any other party leader in Malawi as a lesson to treat their supporters in the same way as treating all other people in the country regardless of their party affiliations.
He said in what started as a propaganda with some other people spreading false information about President Chakwera’s health, Malawians reacted with jubilations that instead of crying for their beloved leader’s heath, they were all in celebrations wishing him dead.
The activist has claimed that truth to be told on Chakwera’s health, people do not want MCP in the country and President Chakwera is forcing himself to govern people that do not want him as their leader assuring him that in 2025 Malawians will teach President Chakwera that history is the best teacher on the ballot box.
“Malawians are regretting to have President Chakwera as their leader,if I were Chakwera, I would have resigned before things get worse,” said Kalindo.
He said while many Malawians were wishing President Chakwera dead, some other youth in the MCP are allegedly plotting to kill him for speaking nothing but the truth that Malawians are in pain and suffering.
Kalindo has advised those who are plotting to kill him that all will die, God has no corruption and they are wasting their time assuring them that he is more than ready to be killed according to their wishes and not God’s wishes.
