From top-rated casting in the music video to exquisite collaborations, Kell Kay has brought a whole new meaning of consistency to a new level.

On Wednesday, Malawians, Zambians, and the universe woke up to a new hit titled ‘Assurance’, featuring Neo Slayer and Jae Cash.

This song follows another hit record with Yo Maps, ‘Banaphwanya’, which is still making waves.

In ‘Assurance’, Kell Kay gives his girl confidence that despite whatever she might hear, she is the only one, and enlists his friends to help make the point noted. Pablo Picasso did the video justice, from the storyline to the actual shots.

Versatile artist Kim of Diamondz plays Kell Kay’s girl, who gets mad from rumors of him cheating, only to find out at the end that she was merely having a dream.

The suspense of her waking up to find her man reading a Bible after the viewers have been taken through a rollercoaster gives it an ending that makes one wish to press replay.

Credits go to Tricky Beats, who has over the years never disappointed when it comes to churning out good beats, and the exceptional backing vocals of the Kambwiri sisters give the song a tickle in the ears.

The song is already doing numbers on YouTube, raking in 10K views in under an hour of its release.
