Mwawi Kumwenda, Malawi’s netball star, has made a triumphant return to action with her new Australian club, West Coast Fever.
After an 8-month break, Kumwenda debuted for West Coast Fever against NSW Swifts at RAC Arena.
Although her team lost 49-67, Kumwenda expressed excitement about her comeback.
“I’m super excited to have returned to top-form netball,” Kumwenda said in a Facebook page.

The goalshooter signed with West Coast Fever from Melbourne Vixens earlier this year.Her skills and experience are expected to strengthen West Coast Fever’s lineup.
